PREACHER 6TH ANNUAL FAMILY REVIVAL

Every year at Preacher, the entire family gets together for a few days of fun to unwind from the day-to-day grind. Not only do we get away to relax as a crew, we celebrate all of what we’ve accomplished both past and present. This rite of passage is proudly called “The Family Revival”. The COVID-19 pandemic put a damper on any chances anyone had of joining together in person, but the Preacher family made the best of it. We held our yearly Family Revival on Zoom and celebrated individually in our homes.

I was tasked with creating the overall look and feel for this year’s Revival along with a bit of merchandise. I connected these “new normal” life experiences to being in the middle of a long road trip in which you’re not certain on when you will arrive to your destination. Blending this idea with Preacher’s vintage West Texas aesthetic, I used photo collage to create mirage-like imagery and paired it with hazy typography to evoke the feeling of an uncertain journey. Although we may not know where the next road leads, we know we have the fortitude to go further. Our soul is endless.
