ESPN - HOME OF SPORTSCENTER TOP 10

For years, SportsCenter has featured incredible plays on-air from young, amateur athletes as part of their daily Top 10 segment. But as newer sports highlight channels and social accounts continued to rise in popularity, SportsCenter now needed to create new relevance among an entirely new generation of young athletes like never before. So when ESPN approached Preacher about finding new ways of rewarding today’s young athletes, we knew we had to go beyond the shout-outs and actually show-up. That led us to Home of SportsCenter Top 10, a nationwide tour that brought the bright lights of SportsCenter beyond Bristol to ten young athletes in ten towns across America—rallying local communities and creating iconic memorials to their hometowns. All the action culminated on October 10th (10/10) with ESPN’s first ever SportsCenter Top 10 Day, a live celebration honoring those athletes across the nation who had earned their place on the show. Now, Home of SportsCenter Top 10 continues on as a year-round program aimed at continually welcoming new athletes into the Top 10 club and showing an entirely new generation of fans that SportsCenter will keep shining the spotlight on amazing athletes everywhere.
